Unfortunately, we have put our double strand design on hold. We’re running low on inventory for our smaller beads that we use for the secondary strand. Plus, this necklace takes quite a bit more effort to make and we’re not 100% loving the finished product so we’re going to go back to the drawing board and see if we can come up with something else.

Having said that, please contact us if you really would like a double strand necklace as we try our best to accommodate custom orders.

I just found out that a friend from university has a beautiful online store selling very mod fabric – Pink Panda Fabrics. For those of us who love sewing (ahem, collecting) fabric, you’ll know that this stuff is so hard to come by north of the border!  And free shipping within Canada is always nice!

I’m so inspired by Cheryl’s beautiful website and wealth of ideas.  I’ve totally reconnected with her and she’s been feeding me tons of resources that helped her get started with her business. Even though we both studied Engineering back in the day and may not be dealing with trig functions on a daily basis, we definitely learned about logical planning and working hard. YAY for WAHMs!

I need a necklace because the little monkey in the picture broke the chain on the beautiful diamond necklace my husband gave me before we got married. Aside from my wedding band and engagement ring it was the only piece of jewelry that my hubby ever bought me and now it’s broken and on the “to do list” to get repaired. Would be great to have something sturdier that the little guy can’t snap in half!
